Speed & Momentum
If you hit an area of problem DON’T accelerate– it can get you into an even worse position. Decrease and relax– this assists you to keep traction and your tyres will work for you instead of spinning aimlessly.
When approaching a barrier, you need momentum. The technique is to start a little way back to gain the momentum you require. This is a skill which you will master gradually.

Constantly hold the guiding wheel with thumbs out when you’re off-road. If you struck a ditch or barrier the wheel could spin too quick and harm your thumbs.

Keep the following with you:
A hi-lift jack
Spare tire and plug package
Wear a safety belt
Do not travel alone
Have a cellular phone on you
Do not drink alcohol when driving
Get back on the tar roadway prior to dark
Offer fellow 4X4 motorists on the track plenty of area
Do not race or churn up the soil needlessly.
Respect the land, the other individuals utilizing the trail and the car! Douse campfires, do not litter (this consists of cigarette butts), stick to trails so as to avoid harming the plant life.
